Gamers Assembly returns from 7 to 9 avril The Futuroscope video games 13th Festival will run from April 7 to 9 at the Futuroscope Conference Center. Like every year, more than 800 players are expected in the department of Vienne in France.
Three, two, one, go! For several months, the association Futurolan is in the starting blocks. In focus, the famous Easter weekend (Pâques), witness of the largest gathering French associative network games. As usual, the Gamers Assembly is preparing to welcome more than 800 amateur and professional players at the Futuroscope Conference Center, with eight official tournaments: Counter Strike Source © Valve ; Battlefield 3 © Electronic Arts ; Call of Duty 4 © Activision ; Call of Duty MW3 © Activision ; Team Fortress 2 © Valve ; Starcraft 2 © Blizzard ; Trackmania ©: Nadeo ; League of Legend © Riot Games. « The list is not exhaustive as other competitions could be added in the next weeks », said Désiré. The chief of Futurolan also announced that, besides the "GA", will be held the expected third major step of French Masters of Video Games. (www.mastersjeuvideo.org) Actually, interested gamers will have to wait until 10th of February to win their ticket to the thirteenth edition, official date of registration. The price? 45€, except for French Masters of Video Games licensed (40€). Parallel tournaments, events, demonstrations of equipment ... Futurolan works behind the scenes to transform the competition of the Easter weekend to an unifying event. Many prizes and cash will be also involved

In two words Born in 2000 in Smarves (Vienne, France), the Gamers Assembly grew in St-Benoit (suburb of Poitiers), before its take off in 2003 by arriving in the Futuroscope Congress Center.
